This very fine Modern Beni hearkens back to the tradition of carpet production and the washing which fades color. The pale blue field persists more towards the bottom of the weave, and the upper section fades away to white. The figures carved into the field are mostly snowflake-like blossoms towards the bottom and large designs lost to the fading towards the top. A fine addition to any collection.
