This very fine Antique Turkmen Ersari carpet uses a bold red field to highlight its deep blue allover medallion design. The carpet has a subdued tone, which allows the carpet to mingle the intentions of red and blue. The medallions are basic checker pattern hexagons, their empty corner space filled with a branching vine tree. The medallions are flowers of red reaching into blue and blue reaching into the red. A fine addition to any collection.
