This vintage Fethiye carpet uses a muted red field hold aloft a squarish pear shaped medallion. The colors are overall, muted but that fits to imply the age and grandeur of the piece. The border is fringed and bordered with green, and despite the aging of the knots, the carpet appears soft, gentle. Any collection would do well to add a carpet already in its second century, but so would any home.
