This ten-rowed vintage Konya uses a fine allover format. The brown of the field is meant to off-set the faded light blue of the medallions, and I must say it does so perfectly. The rug shines not in its color, but its design and its order. Each of the ten rows alternates between the number of medallions it contains, switching from five to four perfectly evenly and without variation. A fine addition to any collection.
