This Antep design uses a cherry red dye contrasted with a creamy white and deep blue to define its three central medallions. Every inch of empty space is blooming with woven flowers. The abrash discoloration of the field is an intentional flaw, a badge of honor. This carpet is beautiful and intricate, so much so that the admirer is rewarded by leaning in further to notice its sharp outlines and soft colors.
