Each layer of this carpet is more detailed than the last, but everything is beautiful. The two outer borders deal only in regal red, blue, and white, but by the third barrier, the weave begins to strut. The field of red before the cross medallion is barely visible behind the lovingly woven geometric pattern and curling lines. The heart of it is truly a study in Kazak coloration, with its cool teal and deep red, as it offers empty space for us to sigh at its beauty.
